Rinse repeat until you get the option and it works. Eventually, this is going to get you in the same instance, and you’ll be able to play together. Once you’re that far, it’s reasonably
SFR had another server linked to it, Fissure of Woe, which is not full and you could join it instead. However, there should be new relinks soon so wait few days and see if SFR gets another smaller server link. If SFR does not get emptier in next 2 month you then may have to transfer again to whatever server they get relinked.
Living World Episode Unlocks. Living World episodes must be unlocked in order to play them. Once unlocked, an episode can be accessed by any level 80 character on the account. Just refreshing this, seems like this is still the case now.I'm originally from Europe and have a Europe account and friends I play with there. But I'm now living in NA and would also like to play with friends here, or be able to join NA servers at night time and find people doing World Bosses or Meta Events, rather than the empty maps because
The only problem is the pve balance. If you want to duel you are most likely a wvw or pvp player and the balance in the guild hall is from pve which makes some classes way way stronger. For example the pistol thief in wvw is a 0.25 daze and in pve its a 2 second daze. Each of you will need no fewer than 40 cards.

We both restarted our games so that it could update. Both of us had the most recent patches downloaded.
To add friends you do not need to be on the same server. No you aren't stuck on the server you chose, for now the server transfers are free, but soon arena net will start to charge you gems if you want to change servers. You can use that yes, or use the character name your friend is currently using to add them as a friend.
