Hi all I'm new to the forum and in desperate need of some info and advice.. My 2000 reg disco TD5 has suddenly developed a problem with the headlights. I'm only getting front sidelights (tail/number plate lights are working as per normal) I've no dipped or main beam lights at all and the main beam flasher will not work!

I'd suggest changing it fully rather than topping up, and checking for any signs of metal in the oil (the drain plug should be magnetic, but running the oil into a plastic tub then sticking a magnet in to the oil and waving that round should find any not on the plug.

Talk to the mapper and say what you want to do, if he can do it, then you are on to a good bloke. If it's just a standard remap, then it's probably a copy file off E bay.
