I use a KTM 690 Duke for coaching students on the racetrack, and the bike is pretty good apart from the shock not being adjustable and being poor quality. The bike is surprisingly capable on the track aside from the rear shock. I bought a 2015 Duke 690 with 480 miles on it. It came with low oil do I wanted to change rather than add to it. I bought the oil change kit with synthetic but I just read not to use synthetic until break-in or at least 600 miles.
