Once you’ve got your frozen pizza ready, it’s time to fire up the Traeger grill. Preheat the grill to 450 degrees Fahrenheit and make sure the grates are clean and oiled. Then, place the pizza on the grill, making sure it’s centred over the indirect heat. You may need to adjust the temperature slightly depending on the size and thickness Instructions. Mix the water and honey in the bowl of a stand mixer. Sprinkle the yeast on top and set aside for 10-15 minutes, until foamy. Add two cups of the flour and gently mix until thoroughly incorporated. Step 1 - Preheat. For 2 burner gas grills, light both burners and preheat to 375–400°F. For gas grills with 3 or more burners, preheat to 425–450°F and light outer burners only. To confirm temperature, use an oven thermometer. Grill should be held at desired temperature for 25 minutes prior to baking. Preheat the grill to medium heat, about 350°F. Clean the grates. Carefully place the frozen pizza on the hot grill. Close the lid and grill for about 10 minutes, checking every few minutes. Use a metal spatula to carefully lift the pizza halfway through and make sure it isn’t burning on the bottom. Kelsey shows how we make Pizza on our Traeger grill. This is a very simple recipe that anyone can do. All ingredients can be bought at pretty much any groce . Lift the dough occasionally to make sure no spots are burning. After about 4-5 minutes the bottom of the dough should be baked and just lightly browned. The top of the dough should be pale but set and probably bubbling. Use a fork to pop any very large bubbles. Brush the dough with olive oil and then add the toppings. Roll the crust out onto your pizza screen, cover it with pizza sauce, add the desired cheese and toppings, and then prepare to place it in the oven. Get your gloves on, slide the pizza peel under the screen, and then open up your grill. It should be around 500 degrees. Preheat grill to low. Completely defrost pizza on the counter or on low in the microwave (I used the defrost fish setting). Spray foil with no stick spray. Place pizza on a piece of foil on the grill. Cook on low 10 minutes (pizza crust will rise). Turn heat up to medium-low and cook an additional 10-15 minutes or until cheese is melted and Instructions. Preheat the grill to 500°F. Prepare all topping ingredients (if using). Cut an 18" piece of Reynolds Wrap® Non-Stick Foil. Place the foil dull side up and roll out the pizza dough to ½" thick (or thinner if desired) directly on the foil. Brush both sides of the dough with olive oil. Step 6: Cook your grilled cast iron pizza about 10-12 minutes. The cook time will vary drastically depending on the average temperature of your grill and the size of your cast iron skillet. We made one pizza in a 10 inch skillet and another one in a 12 inch skillet, and our charcoal grill stayed at about 550 degrees.
